Rani Homestay and Adventure Travel is located in Tumpang, a suburb area of Malang, one of the biggest yet beautiful cities in Java Island, Indonesia.  It only takes two and half hours from Juanda Airport, Surabaya; half an hour from Abdurrahman Saleh Airport, Malang; and forty five minutes from the center of Malang City.

Rani Homestay is a place where you find a home to stay. It is more than just a place to stay, it is about Indonesian hospitality. Being located at the outskirt of Malang city, Rani Homestay offers a calm environment within a walking distance to several tourism attractions, such as Candi Jago temple (who was built at the 13th century), Candi Kidal temple, and Coban Pelangi waterfall. The beautiful Bromo Volcano is only 1.5 hours drive away. We currently have 14 rooms with personal touch of service that are suitable for family or small group to stay.

Rani Adventure Travel is a locally owned and locally operated tour operator focusing on volcanoes trekking and hiking, rafting, cycling, trail running, diving, and other adventure sports and activities. Our company has been local operator for major Indonesian and European travel agencies to volcanoes in East Java for more than fifteen years.

Our company made a re-branding move at the end of 2014 in order to serve our clients better. We now consist of a group of young, energetic people who love nature and outdoor activities, and are determined and motivated to make Indonesia one of the most enjoyable adventure tourism destinations. As an expansion, we are now not only
organizing inbound trips in East Java, but also all over Indonesia, as well as outbound trips to Malaysia and Nepal. We are not only offering pre-planned or package tours, but also custom activities, based on our clients’ needs, including school study trips and company outings.

In 2017, we made a new brand, Terre des Volcans, to accommodate the french speaking adventurers.

We are always pursuing an eclectic combination between the uniqueness of local wisdom and professionalism in every of our works. We always work with local people and we always try to empower them by giving frequent training, including basic first aid training to basic English teaching. No longer only a matter of sea, sun, and sand, we see tourism as a live interaction between the local people and traveler, as well as their cultures. Thus, we do believe that local wisdom is an important key factor on tourism, along with professionalism standard. We aim to not only helping people to experience the wonderful places around Indonesia, but also to introduce them to the real life of local people.
